In this particular order
1 San Jose
2 Miami
3 Los Angeles
4 San Francisco
5 New York

These metros have the 5 highest percentages of foreign born residents.

LA gets a rather disproportionate amount.

Now that I think about it, that's pretty much all we've been getting (the only group really growing), and its been that way for some time now.

NYC is the biggest hotspost for immigrants since 1855-1890 immigrants came first to Castle Garden Immigration Depot, then it was replaced by the Ellis Island (1892-1954) is the location of what was the main entry facility for immigrants entering the United States. It still is the biggest hotspots for immigrants.

The Second one that I believe that is a hotspot for immigrants is LA.
