Nope they meant west into Vermont. Out of Whitehall go North on 9 to 10 (Doig St) then instead of following 10 East where it turns, take the Left and take East Bay Road into Vermont, which is to your West at that point.
For some reason you hear about the beaches for almost every state on the Atlantic Coast and the Gulf of Mexico except for.... Texas! I have no idea why this is, especially as the state has such a long coast line.

That bridge looks like a lego version of the Brooklyn Bridge lol.
*Parts of Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wyoming were apart of Texas when Texas became a state in 1845. In 1850 in return for the debt Texas gave up the land for 10,000,000 dollars and was ceded to the Federal government.
*The Texas State Capital is the largest state capital in terms of square feet.

mounument in the world.
*Largest statue in Texas it is located in the front of the Dallas Zoo largest Zoo in Texas.
*Texas has the most cities over one million in population Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio
*Largest hotel in Texas Sheraton Dallas Hotel.
*Largest stadium in Texas Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin,tx capacity 94,113
These are cool, but the last two are certainly not true. I know for a fact that Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium is NOT the largest, by any means. There are many stadiums with great capacities.
Jamestown- The colony practiced cannibalism during the harsh winters of 1609–1610. The Jamestown residents ate their way through their livestock, their pets, mice, rats--and then each other.
Virginia Beach- This city has no cursing signs.
Blacksburg- Was the birthplace of the notorious serial killer Henry Lee Lucas. This is also where he was raised as a child.
Arlington- The Pentagon has twice as many bathrooms as is necessary. When it was built in the 1940s, the state of Virginia still had segregation laws requiring separate toilet facilities for blacks and whites.
West Virginia "My other homeland"
There once was a town named "6" in West Virginia.
Moundsville- Home to one of the most haunted places in America The old West Virginia State Penitentiary. From 1899 to 1959, ninety-four men were executed. Hanging was the method of execution until 1949 with eighty-five men meeting that fate. Beginning in 1951, electrocution became the means of execution. Ironically, the electric chair used by the prison was originally built by an inmate there, Paul Glenn.
The Mothman-freely walks around Point Pleasant.
Term Redneck-Might have possibly resulted from The West Virginia Coal Miners March (1921) or the Battle of Blair Mountain when coal miners wore red bandannas around their necks to identify themselves as seeking the opportunity to unionize. (Fiercely independent, and sometimes belligerent, people characterized as rednecks occasionally engaged in blood feuds such as the infamous Hatfield-McCoy feud in West Virginia and Kentucky.)

The largest in Texas the only Stadium in Texas that comes close is the Cotton Bowl In Dallas capacity 92,200.
