This is a great battle. Skyline wise, I would say Houston wins followed by Miami. Atlanta is a very close Third, and has the better Architecture. All of these cities have incredible skylines.

The trouble with trying to get a comprehensive picture of Atlanta's skyline is that it is linear and encompasses 7 miles if you include Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead. It's difficult to get in all into one photo unless you are taking it from a great distance. The picture posted here only shows Downtown, for instance.

Yeah, I had a hard time finding a picture with the whole skyline. I found one, but it just didn't do the skyline any justice.

The big 3? Dallas continues to be disrespected.

I think that all three of these cities have skylines that can be a bit tricky to photograph. The same could be said for Houston due to the difficulty in including Downtown, Midtown, the Medical Center, and Uptown/Galleria areas all in the same shot. Miami's skyline is extremely long but not extremely dense, particularly with all of the new construction in the Midtown area, and some would say that you should perhaps include Miami Beach for a full perspective.

Why are Houston, Atlanta, and Miami more frequently mentioned than Dallas? Dallas has the largest MSA of these cities...it has every right to be considered a top city of the entire south.

Not only that...it has gained more people in its MSA than all these fast growing cities.

Last but not least, Dallas has a great skyline that rivals all three of these...yet it is somehow frequently left out in these forums.
