Make sure you read the article first lol.
20 Highest Earning Cities in America - The Daily Beast

It's by household income, and it's a supposed indicator of higher levels of human capital.
Anyway, most are pretty obvious, but there was like a few surprises, enjoy.
America's 20 Highest Earning Cities - Galleries - The Daily Beast

Sorry if this should be in General U.S., wasn't sure.
Looks like this might be a month or a few weeks old, sorry, it was in my recent news. But, it's still pretty recent anyway.
Nevermind, it's by more than just household income, geez, sorry about all the edits lol.

-I'm glad to see Stamford get a mention, #2!
-I'm surprised Trenton-Ewing got a mention... I knew they made a lot in that area, but damn! #6? I lived there, and even Trenton has mansions that will make your jaw drop. Low unemployment rates there as well.
-I always knew Anchorage had high paying jobs, I'm just glad to see a list point it out for once.
-Hartford is #10... (to the OP)

The rest was predictable.. San Jose, DC, SF, Boston, NYC--- Yeah we know.

I liked that list. It included smaller areas that usually go without a sign of acknowledgment on most lists. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I liked that too lol, but why did they stop writing at 16? I wanted to know what they had to say about Rochester, Worcester, Fairbanks, and Honolulu. Well ok, I can guess Honolulu, but still.

You've never heard of Honolulu? wow...Manchester and Worcester are within close proximity to Boston too, which helps explain their ranking.

Oh wait I knew Honolulu too. But the others seem like some small cities/towns in the Northeast. Basically meaning it has nothing to do with the side of the country I live in (either of the sides of the country I live in)

LOL, it's cool seeing some new names in the lists though, the usual suspects didn't crack the top 10 for once.

Yes, I've known about the state capital of Hawaii since 5th grade. I just didn't pay attention before posting. Lol.
