In a beautiful waterfront setting in the shadow of nearby volcanic Mt. Baker, college town with WWU, it's really close to BC and close enough to Seattle for a day trip in. I like the Fairhaven area of B'ham, it has charm. I could live there, would pick it over Seattle. I love that part of WA.

A decent city with crazy conservatives surrounding it. It frustrates me that it's not on the lake.
