I remember I saw Spokane on House Hunters once. It looked really nice and hilly. Completely different from Seattle in Western Washington.

^Like you, I've got to go with the Amazon movie (or perhaps it was Netflix) with Casey Affleck. Seems like small town NE living.

Good city. Have a friend I grew up with who is an aircraft mechanic who lives there and likes it.

Meh. Nice enough town, a little run-down, not growing much, very isolated. But beautiful countryside.

Saint George, Utah

Beautiful setting. I made it a point to visit once on a coast to coast drive after seeing that blue field on many a football game broadcast. Just a lovely state to look at. Nice small city. A good record store, nice bookstore, etc.

My wife has family in Erie (I've never been there). I always thought of Erie as a blue-collar place and that they get a ton of snow, so don't go in the winter. Erie seems far away from the rest of PA, especially in the winter, almost like it's in Canada.

According to my wife who has visited up there (I have not), Erie is not a bad place. The zoo is pleasant, not super fancy but definitely worth a visit. They have an indoor water park called Splash Lagoon. The lake is fun, and it's a good time. The lake gets busy in the summer. Don't feed the seagulls. People are nice up there. They call soda pop.

Ocean City, NJ
