Sioux City, IA
Can be easily confused with Sioux Falls, SD. Named after an Native American tribe.

Asheville without any of the frills. At least it has a better hospital.

Very small town in VA's piedmont near the NC boarder.

Boring. Suburban sprawl in the middle of a bunch of farmland with no real downtown. I'd rather move to Walla Walla or even Yakima if I were moving to that region of the state.

Should be included in Charlotte's sphere of influence. Neat town center and open access to nature.

Burlington, VT.

The only city in Vermont. Home of the Flagship U...... has a pedestrian mall downtown that Ive heard about for years... along the shore of Lake Champlain. It seems like a charming little city...... its intrigued me for years... and one day I will visit.

Nice town. I liked the area around the governor's mansion, very leafy --- Summit Ave felt like it could have been picked right out of a close-in Chicago suburb. The ethnic restaurants on University Ave were cool too. Wish I'd had more than a weekend to explore the area.

Anchorage, AK

The only city in AK that seems large. Very cold and snowy. Moose wandering into town.

Has an average rainfall of over 130 inches a year, less touristy side of the Big Island more residential than Kona and one of the commercial centers on the island, gateway to Volcanoes NP. Quaint and fairly low key.

Santa Barbara, CA
