Bland, nondescript, but growing.

Small, nondescript town in what seems like a decent part of the state. The local ruins seem like a fun place to explore. Pretty good proximity to big box shopping/amenities in nearby Farmington as well.

Charleston, WV

Underrated. It's not a spectacular place, but it's quite pleasant. It's located in an area of tremendous natural beauty. Really fun to fly into its airport because it sits on the top of a mountain, so it looks like you're way high up but then suddenly you're on the ground.

And speaking of airports that are built on the top of a mountain . . . Billings, MT.

Very beautful, often overlooked small metro. Great aerospace and tech scene. Has a great future.

Second to last town along NY state Highway 114(on the south Hamptons and Montauk tip of eastern Long Island), before taking a ferry across the Peconic River to the north tip of LI (with Orient, Greenspoint, etc). Downtown seems like it's charmimg, and has some small town things to make it seem a little charming (i.e. mom and pop movie theater, etc).

Carrollton, GA
