There seem to be more and more "never heard of it" responses. Maybe it'd be better to wait til someone else replies, or maybe do a quick look on wikipedia? I feel the dismissive comments don't contribute much to what is otherwise an interesting/educative/fun thread. Some of the "never heard of it" towns would be interesting to hear something about.

Oh, and St. Louis, home of the 1904 Worlds Fair.

Thats what I do if I have never heard of it or I go to Google Maps and look at some of the landscape, universities, stadiums etc. .

But a nice coastal city, has a great historical district, the rainforest pyramid, Jack Johnson AKA Galveston Giant, I think it's skyline greatly resembles that of Charleston SC
