For Metro Areas, the way I see it and I have lived on both coasts they are essentially the same.
Long Island is Orange County without the palm trees and year round 70 degree weather.
Of coarse people are going to automatically pick the biggest cities first because they think that's what everyone else will pick or because society tells us one is better than the other because it is more known...i think these kind of comparison's can only truly be made by people who have lived and worked in each place
Miami because I love beaches. I really need to visit though.
But really, I could live in any of the three I think. A combination of the three would be the best city in the world. The mountains and topography of LA, warm tropical beaches of Miami, and urban lifestyle of NYC would make the perfect city.
Thats probably the best way to describe it...I second that.
Actually I guess it would. It even has the 3rd world feel of many LA and Miami areas. LOL. Idk if I could live in such a poor place but it probably would be the best place for me.
True...a lot of areas in Miami and LA look the same and they've both been called 3rd world. LA - mountains = Miami.
If were talking Metro area and not city I'd choose Miami. I'd choose someplace right near the beach with a laid back attitude.
I'm not surprised so few did, everybody hates Miami for some reason...I love it. South Florida has some of the nicest areas in the US. The City of Miami can get pretty hectic at times but theres nothing like driving across the bridge out of the city to a relaxing day on the beach . These are probably my 3 favorite cities in the US with Chicago rounding out the 4th spot. I don't know though, a lot of people exaggerate Miami as some place where the only people that live there are cubans and everyone speaks spanish, everyone hates you, your going to die in a car crash lol it's crazy how misunderstood people are.
Pretty much, except Los Angeles has a little more going for it than Miami.
Los Angeles is so much bigger than Miami though so thats expected. If you think about it though, what really does LA have going for it that Miami doesnt? Atleast Miami has an NFL team :P
I dont want to EVER see another palm tree for the rest of my remaining days on this earth. I would rather see the frozen tunda in upper Alaska.
Lol you have like the most opposite thinking of a lot of people I know. Even my family in New York and New Jersey always want to see palm trees and nice blue water ect.
