We have Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Palmdale, 29 Palms, and probably more, but I'm not sure.

Florida has Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, and probably more that I don't know about.

I've seen a large variety of Palms in Florida. Florida receives more rain than California so it can support more types of Palms. I've even seen the type of Palms that are native to California while I was in Florida. I think Florida is more known for it's Palms than California.

Both states are known but Ca is huge and has a bunch of them but Palms thrive in warm weather don't they? Both states are warm year round!

Florida has a larger variety. You can't find a single place in Florida were a palm tree can't grow, unlike places in California. California also doesn't have the tropical climate capable of supporting the best palm of all, the Coconut palm, like South Florida and coastal central FL. There are also 12 palm species native to Florida while California only has one.

idk I like Ca Palm's more than FL Palms, I go to the beach and I like the palms right above the sun. It looks cool. btw, does Ca get more sunshine than Fl? For some reason The sun in Ca is so much brighter than FL's to me.
