I do not think sh*tloads of 300 footers around 16 500+ footers make an amazing unmatched skyline.
If you include buildings under construction, Toronto has 28 buildings over 500 feet tall.

Toronto's amazing downtown density is nicely displayed here:

Both Skylines are nice but I would lean towards Toronto on this one. If Philly didn't have the Gentlemen's agreement for so many years, I think Philly's skyline would've been in the top 5 in the U.S.

One thing I can say is that both cities have comparable transit systems look at both cities subway systems Bloor-Danforth line compared to the Broad st. line and Young Spadina line compared to the Market street line. Also the various trolley and bus lines each city have.

I'd give the slight edge to Toronto skyline wise. But I like Philly's collection of historic buildings better than Toronto's.

I would hope so considering Toronto is Canada's largest city and Philadelphia is the US's 6th largest city.

Toronto just has to fill that gap between midtown and uptown and it'll truely make it a complete metropolis. Unfortunately it's all suburban North York
