OK City/Tulsa:

1. Oil
2. Country Music and more recently Red Dirt Music (mixture of Redneck Country and Southern Rock)
3. Native Americans/Cowboys
4. Tornadoes
5. College Football (Yes, college football officially started when the Sooners came on the scene)
6. Overweight Folks (I'm one of 'em, haha....due to our excellent and copious amounts of fried catfish, okra, and BBQ)
7. Noodlin'....while most people don't noodle due to the danger, it is still very common and many folks love to fish for...you guessed it....bass&catfish! Nothin' more Okie than fishing in an Oklahoma farm pond surrounded by our famous red dirt.
8. Sonic (started and based in OK City)
9. Braums (great ice cream and burgers)
10. Extremely conservative social values (a good thing in this 'ol country boy's opinion)
