True, having some cloud cover is nice as well.
When I lived in Austin, I felt like the sun was just constantly beating down on me all the time. And it was... Houston has more cloudy days than Austin, but fewer than Seattle. Atlanta, I'm not sure.

It depends on the hour. Atlanta weather can be "bipolar"

In everyday life, when people are trying to get to work and worried about this and that; to them those mountains don't even exist. In addition Seattle is known for its unaffordable rents and mortgages, does anyone think those mountains will help them pay the rent?

These areas have similar type weather as the Southeast. However, very few people take their vacation in cold, rainy Seattle-type weather.
This statement would be valid if it were true that Seattle is cold and rainy year round, which it isn't. The fact is most people take their vacations in the summer, which is when it's warm and sunny in the PNW. I guess the cruise ship terminals are just an illusion.

It almost sounds as if you have some sort of personal vendetta against Seattle...or maybe you are just upset because Houston is coming in last...?

Yeah, they tend to do that when Houston loses a poll, which seems to be pretty often.

^^^I think EVERYBODY does that, even New Yorkers. Heck, New Yorkers got mad at me for putting Florida 4th in a list of Super States, even though I put Florida BEHIND New York. They were mad at the fact I put Florida on the list.

No, the difference is that Houston has an inferiority complex.
