In terms of being more progressive, and a more interesting place to live?

You also might factor in your tolerance for humidity. For about six months Austin has mucho. For most of the year ABQ is low.

Although they're both progressive and interesting - I'd have to say Albuquerque.

BTW - you spelled the city name ==> "Alburquerque". That's the way they used to spell the city name in the 1700's (almost two hundred years ago). Since about the 1800's they dropped the first "r". So it's now spelled "Albuquerque"

Austin is probably more Liberal if that's what you mean by progressive. They're both interesting places to live, but, i'd lean towards Albuquerque. Plus, ABQ does not have the humidity of Austin, and actually has 4 seasons.

Austin in a landslide. Its IT sector is one of the tops in the country, not to mention it's commitment to the Arts (SxSW and in general, a mecca for live music). The Texas hill country is quite a beautiful place, lots of green accompanied by clear lakes and aquifers. The summers do get hot though. The dry heat of New Mexico would be a lot more bearable, IMO.

Well if you find doing Meth interesting, move to Albuquerque. I don't know anything about Austin, and I don't want to. YUCK, what horrible choices you have. Sorry.

Grow up. You're going to every thread posting garbage regarding places you dislike.
