It's still a STATE.

Somehow it's forgotten or dismissed as not being in the US. If that was the case, I don't know what country was my birthplace

Billings, Montana has quite the underrated skyline imo!

I told you why it's forgotten or dismissed: because it's nor part of the continental US. I'm very well aware of the fact that it's a state, but it's not like I can just hop on an interstate and get there. You're totally dismissing that factor (its isolation/lack of accessibility) and it's a pretty big one.

Another reason, for the purposes of this thread, is the composition of Honolulu's skyline, which is mainly residential. "Resort" skylines are a different beast than traditional CBD skylines and are often overlooked in threads like these. That's why you don't see places like Myrtle Beach or a slew of small Florida coastal cities on this list.

Nor do I; Philadelphians and Pittsburghers have beat that skyline drum half to death.

In real life, I think Philly is underrated.

I forgot what thread this was in, but I feel like Rochester's skyline is pretty under-rated. Now granted it isnt the tallest or prettiest in upstate, but it does have a certain symmetry to it, and appeal. Sorry for not providing pictures this time, but I'd have to vote on it.

Is it just me, or does most of the country not know anything about Rochester? The second I leave upstate ny, its like nobody's ever even heard of the city.

It suffers from being in the same state as NYC. Buffalo probably wouldn't get as much coverage as it does if it weren't declining so badly.

yeah. I vote upstate and downstate split in half!
But that's a different thread.
