Hello all,

What city do you think has the better skyline? Both around the same size, very different climates, area, etc., I think that Kansas City has a better skyline than Portland.

Kansas City...

Portland as a city is very cool.... but the skyline is not impressive. KC skyline is more historic, better architecture, and much larger.

I was going to vote for Portland, but did some quick research and discovered that KC has 12 buildings over 350 feet, while Portland only has 6. I'm switching to KC, plus I really like the blend of old and new in KCMO.

Kansas City definitely has a larger skyline, but I much prefer the aesthetics of Portland. It has hills directly behind it, views of at least 2 mountains, and I love the sleek South Waterfront area.

If this was about man-made skyline, KC would win hands down. However, Mt. Hood to me is a part of the the skyline of Portland (though its not in the pic) and that, to me, is enough FTW.
