The response is always "b-b, but BMI!!!!" It's like people don't realize the CDC collects stats beyond BMI.

A 39 inch waist is beyond "thick." Chase Young of the San Francisco 49ers has a 36 inch waist at 6'4 and 260 lbs. You really need to stand next to a guy like that in real life (TV doesn't do it justice) and ask yourself if you want a woman thicker than that.

What you stated doesn't mean that there aren't more men. If anything, one could say the dating out is due to an over index of black males. In fact this recent census data shows that there are about 2000 more black males than females ages 20-29 in Los Angeles County: https://data.census.gov/table/ACSDT1...can%20American

By that logic, DC should have even more interracial marriage because the gap is even larger.

Based on what though? I'm not seeing how you got there. LA only has the tenth largest black population of any metro in the country; less than half of Atlanta and less than a third of NY.

That men in Cali aren't "checking" for BW sounds anecdotal, and fitness being used as a marker of attractiveness is just personal preference.

Bruh, I'm not holding you back from your Countess Vaughn or Lizzo. As I said, to each his own.

Is that even true? I ask, because it has been known that out West is where there tends to be more black males than black females than other parts of the country and the data appears to illustrate this. If you look at the list from the Black Demographics website, areas like Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, Portland and San Diego tend to rate highly in this regard and have for a while. For those that didn't see the list: https://blackdemographics.com/cities...r-black-women/

So, I know this is about meeting black women, if black women are open to it, places with a visible military presence tend to have a high ratio or over index in black males. Ironically, such areas tend to have higher black median household incomes too.

Looking back, I see that I filtered for childless singles within the age group. So married people don't count.

For the entire DMV, it's 75,677 childless and single men vs 71,476 women.

Cool. That still doesn't answer why LA is any man's best option.

It's definitely the best option for men who want in-shape Black women.

Except the other cities will still likely have far more in raw numbers. I know from living there that slim, attractive women are everywhere in Atlanta.

Raw numbers is what produces more options for more men, not the mere concentration of a certain type.
