Birmingham and Richmond vs. Little Rock and Winston-Salem (best, places, America)

OK, this isn't your typical "skyline battle" poll/thread. This one comes from a discussion I was having with someone on another message board who thinks that the skylines of Little Rock and Winston-Salem are in the same league as the skylines of Richmond and Birmingham. While I consider the skylines of Little Rock and Winston-Salem impressive given the size of those cities, I do not think they are in the same league as Richmond and Birmingham. So what say ye? Should they all be grouped together, or is there a clear division between these two sets of skylines?
^Have you seen any in person? It's not always as easy to demonstrate the differences using photographs. For instance, if you've been to both Richmond and Winston-Salem, you'd know that Richmond's skyline is roughly twice as large and its downtown twice as dense was Winston-Salem's.
I've seen all of these in person, except for Little Rock, so i can't comment on that city. But I put Richmond in a different category from Birmingham and Winston. Richmond's skyline, IMO, just looks so much longer than those two places. Birmingham's skyline looks long in pictures, but if you've ever been there, you know it looks a bit different in person. For B-ham, you only see the four tallest buildings until you get right up on downtown. Winston has two fairly tall buildings, but that's pretty much all there is to their skyline. Winston's downtown is actually very small.
^I put Birmingham in the same category as Richmond due to density. I do think that Richmond occupies a higher position within the same tier (or could be assigned to a sub-tier), mainly due to having taller buildings.
I do not think their skylines are simliar. However, in defense of Little Rock and Winston their skylines are very nice for their size. Richmond does have a very nice and impressive skyline, probably the best in VA. If it had some taller buildings it could rival Charlotte. But that is my opinion.

I think it rivals Charlotte's in the density department, but not the height department.

Richmond, VA
This picture if it's taken from where I think it was, is about 5 miles from downtown at the city limits. I've been through Winston-Salem and even though they are similar sized cities Richmond definitely felt bigger. I haven't been to the other two. Just off of the pictures even Birmingham looks less dense. On a typical weekday on Main St. in the center of Richmond you almost could imagine being in a typical big northeast city, with all the street vendors out and the amount of suits walking up and down the streets. The weekend it's a ghost town. And the buildings are very old and close to each other. So in my opinion no these cities are not in the same league. On another note even though it's much bigger than Richmond, Baltimore has a similar skyline. I think it's tallest building(s) is only 50 feet taller than Richmonds. It's more dense too.
Little Rock's skyline is actually a little small for it's size. It's CMSA is nearly one million, so it would be nice to see more talls and some density. Even still, the downtown area is still really impressive. Not something many people would expect to see in the middle of Arkansas.
