I didn't say Miami was a cultural wasteland. I am well aware of Art Basel. I was responding to another poster who said Miami BLEW San Diego away in culture.

Your city is bore city compared to Miami......
I have been to Miami SEVERAL times. I do not LIVE in San Diego. LOL. As I stated, I LIKE both cities.

Miami is improving its cultural infrastructure. For years it WAS a cultural wasteland. And yes, there are a lot of douche bags in Miami. Even more so than in my city (Los Angeles) which has its fair share. Again, the presence of douche bags does NOT mean there is no culture in Miami. I agree that there is culture in Miami....but that is not the major draw to Miami.

Miami does blow San Diego away in culture and you haven't proved otherwise. Instead, you resulted to saying Miami has a douchebag culture and San Diego is intellectually superior.

Umm notice the lack of an inter-coastal waterway/Biscyane Bay to the left, the freeway running directly along the beach, and not a single palm tree in site. That's a picture of CHICAGO. And you live in Florida... lol.

Yea, but city data users loves to hate on Florida, so don't try using logic.

EDIT:

Actually he is on to something. After further research that does indeed look like Chicago. My apologies. However you can find this same image in a google search of Miami. It's not uncommon for major cities to steal ideas from each other in their architetecture and layout. I have been to Miami countless times, would love to live there if I could afford it (Housing Costs are high down there). However I admit that I do not know every inch of the city.

So you think that's a pic of South Beach too? LOL.

So do you think that is snowfall or piles of cocaine lined up on the beach below? Since it's Miami I guess it must be the latter right? LOL.
