...I agree with you, esp. about Balto; but for 1.2 million, I would still expect something with more attractive physical attributes; it just looks like a trumped-up string of warehouses..
Well to be honest people is SF are not paying 1.2 million for their houses, they are paying for location. Not too many cities can offer views like SF.
What's all this crazy talk about SF having no trees?
No one was saying SF has no trees. We all know there's plenty of beautiful tree-lined neighborhoods there. We were simply commenting on the fact that those million dollar townhomes seemed to lack any form of plants in/around the front of their doors, which looked quite ugly.
It's not, though. There are so many American cities that have tremendously bland residential architecture. Those of us who live in cities that have a sizeable number of ornate rowhouses and gorgeous Victorians don't know how lucky we are.
