Yup, Union City has one of the largest Asian enclaves in the Bay. So does Daly City being over 51% Asian. But I think SF and SJ are even more impressive having respective Asian populations of 31% and 27% respectively, considering how much larger they are. And then there are all the other Bay Area cities with large Asian populations, as well as places like San Mateo, EPA and San Bruno that have large Tongan populations, or SF and South City that have a good amount of Samoans. I know there are plenty of Polynesians in the East Bay and South Bay too but I don't really know where they're the deepest. I know Hayward used to have Samoans there before.

Outside the big 5 cities (NYC, CHI, LA, SF, DC), Houston has the largest Filipino population. I wish we got our consulate back! L.A. is too far (and why did we get moved from the jurisdiction of closer Chicago?). The Philippine government should consider re-opening the Houston Consulate-General office.

As far as Pacific Islanders(such as myself-LOL), The Census Bureau says this is their 2008 Population
Honolulu, HI MSA 76,675
Los Angeles-Long Beach-Riverside, CA CSA 50,700
San Jose-San Francisco-Oakland, CA CSA 40,311
Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia, WA CSA 23,807
Salt Lake City-Ogden-Clearfield, UT 16,555
San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos, CA 14,800
Sacramento-Arden Arcade-Roseville, CA CSA 14,169
Las Vegas-Paradise-Pahrump, NV CSA 9,131
Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, OR-WA MSA 7,627
Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, AZ MSA 7,152
New York-Newark-Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA CSA 6,444
Dallas-Ft Worth, TX 5,637

We however many in the community feel that some of these places are grossly undercounted due to language barrier, misunderstanding and suspicion of census takers(LOL)

So we're working on a project to educate the community in time for 2010.

A lot of great answers but many of you are listing cities and not "metro areas" or just listing population percentages within metro areas.

My question is other than Greater Seattle and San Francisco Bay Area are there any other metros that Asian Pacific Americans make up the largest minority meaning they outnumber blacks and Latinos.
