I voted for LA. It's not even fair to Orlando to be compared to LA.

You can't compare Orlando to LA. Orlando has a MSA of about 2 million where as LA has a MSA of about 15 million.

The only thing Orlando and LA have in common are Disney Theme Parks and that their climates are warmer than average for a US city.

Both have sprawl and experienced population growth, but so have many other American cities. I agree that this is a terrible and unfair comparison. It's like comparing Portland to NYC.

But people on here compare Chicago to NYC.

Why don't you just say that you want to start a fight

Anyway, this comparison is a joke.

Chicago and NYC are more comparable because they're in the top 3 most powerful cities in the United States, began to rapidly grow during the 19th century, and have a large urban core. LA growth began in the earlier 1900s during the moving industry and have gradually experienced growth. It even hosted the Olympics twice. Orlando only became known city when Disney World was established in the 1970s. Only in the past 10-15 years has Orlando experienced great economic growth and sprawl.

The entire LA metro area is much bigger and includes smaller cities such as Long Beach, Compton, Beverly Hills, Riverside, Pasadena. Even Orange County is sometimes considered part of the LA metro area. The only bigger city Orlando metro area includes that is somewhat well known is Kissimmee.

Orlando is a very young city and should only be compared to other up and coming sunbelt cities or at least metro areas closer to its own size.

As stated before, I shouldn't even have to argue this. But did oh well

A better comparison for LA would be Houston. In the same vein as Chicago vs. NYC.

This is not a good comparison at all. If you were to put a California city up against Orlando, Sacramento would be the most comparable.
