Bay area is better, no question. Chicagoland is for masochists.
Welllll, since youre into stereotyping all of Chicagoland, Id be real careful because San Fran is easily stereotyped, too!

Two thumbs down on your useless post!

Ditto. I had to be real careful there on that post. Seeing someone from San Fran stereotyping another city is just too funny. Dont get me wrong, San Fran is Cali's nicest major city, but outside of San Fran, the Bay Area just isnt desireable, lots and lots of ghettos and utterly deplorable areas.

Some parts are very nice (ie Sacaulito), but places like Oakland and Richmond? Cmon man...

places like gary cicero and the greater portion of the west and south side of chicago... cmon man...

you could pretty much match up sf with chicago's north side and the west and south sides with oakland/richmond...

this goes both ways ya know

I agree and understand. However, there is FAR more variety in Chicagoland than there is in the Bay Area, thats all Im saying. While Cicero isnt desireable, Id rather live there than Richmond! And Gary? I dont count Gary, thats in IN. There are over 300 suburbs in Chicagoland. 300! There are more suburbs in Chicagoland that I would recommend alone then there are total suburbs in the Bay Area. See where Im going with this? Quality and quantity is gold, my man. And that is what Chicagoland is all about.

You mean like the southside/westside of Chicago and Gary?
