Dallas steamrolls Houston any time of the day. Fountain Place is my favorite skyscraper of all time, that thing is a MASTERPIECE!

Not in my opinion, it isn't. "Crushes" is the appropriate term to describe what the buildings in Atlanta do to the ones in Dallas and Houston.

Is the RepublicBank 2 tower in use again? When I lived in Dallas, it was vacant.
Yes, it is an office tower!

It would look like this without neon!

It seems that at any given time, many of the green strips on BOA aren't working, which makes it look like a gap-toothed kid. I like the look without the green.

What used to be the First National Bank (don't know what it's called now) had illuminated vertical white strips in the 1960s and 70s. May have been Dallas's first illuminated skyscraper. It looked pretty cool.

It is now called Elm Place. The building was built in 1965 it was the tallest building west of the Mississippi River! The building is 52 stories tall and 625 ft high! The building hasn't been lit up in years! The last time I seen it lit up was 5 years ago!

The building is lit up on this picture.

Here is a picture of the building in 1970 the tallest building in Texas!

Picture of the building in 1965 (a couple of days after it opened!)

BTW Bank of America in Dallas isn't lit up in neon, it's actually argon that glows green. You know the color of money.

Fountain Place has a missing twin. That's why I voted for the Williams Tower. At least Houston doesn't have missing twins! Someone should build the twin.

This question is an act of illiteracy. There's no such thing as being more or less unique. Something is either unique or it is not. If something is unique, there is only one of them in the world. If there is something similar to it somewhere else, neither of them are unique. The Mona Lisa is unique. A McDonalds franschise is not unique.

Being "more or less" unique is about on the same level of confusion as being more or less pregnant.

There is something VERY similar to Fountain Place. It's a skyscraper in Queens.
