I have heard people here call CU Colorado university but this doesn’t mean its correct

NORAD is very active please don’t scare the Canadians

Colorado springs is also home to U.S. NORTHCOM, which is based out of Peterson AFB. The commander is also the commander of NORAD.

The 3rd Infantry division 1st brigade combat team is also assigned to USNORTHCOMM and stands ready for man made and natural disasters

I think its close between boulder and Colorado Springs in terms of recognition

Yeah they come off pretty close, Springs is a bit bigger as a city though.
