From my standpoint, I see a lot of hate/love for these two states. People either really hate them, or really love them. (both states have a lot of pride as well)
Which state do you prefer?

Do state your reasoning's.

I prefer NJ not only because it's my home, but because it's on the ocean, it has better cities (in terms of their economy), and it's a more affluent state as a whole.
Taxes are NJ's damper.

Most people have no idea about Ohio, only from what they hear...which is usually wrong. I chose Ohio. I'd rather live in Cleveland, Columbus, or Cincy over any New Jersey major city.

Ah, but this is why I'm comparing the two states. Both of these states take in all sorts of ignorance, more so than the average state should.

Jersey, my home, has the ocean, nearby big cities, good food, a unique population, and a very weird history. Plus much much more

I prefer Ohio. New Jersey is pretty much at the bottom of the barrel as far as states go. I found people in New Jersey to be among the meanest in the entire country. Ohio is much more chill....
