But, to answer the OP poll, your photo shows why Miami's beach communities are so special. It's America's Riviera. Too bad that photo isn't turned slightly to the south to actually show Miami Beach.

Totally agree with you. I used to have my boat at Marina Del Rey and I think the entire area has seen better days.

The locals are just scenesters playing it up weird for the tourists. Way too many "notice-me-dammit" types.
