It was largely because you had that one guy who registered under about a zillion different screen names so he could bash Chicago. The anti-Chicago crowd has been grossly inflated around here.

Atlanta and Houston. Bar none. I'll echo the observation that no matter what the topic is, the Atlanta/Houston bashers and homers are constantly going back and forth on why the cities either suck or are so important and great. Not only that, but there is a great deal of fighting and back and forth between the Houston and Atlanta homers on here (I've been guilty of it myself) as well. Honestly, it's gottne quite tiresome, and I'm attempting to rectify and check myself and not even engage or dignify a lot of it with a response.

I know right; those Houstonians bickering all the time making the rest of us look bad. I'm happy I'm not one of them.

This (just replace Houstonians with New Yorkers).

I pretty much instantly thought of the southeast region. I voted for Atlanta, but pretty much anywhere in the southeast is either constantly bashed or praised.

Ah yes...."Dementor".....haven't heard from him in a while.

Having said that, I'm sure that he'll "adopt" a new moniker, and continue the Chicago-bashing..

I say Atlanta or Houston.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that these cities grew so fast that most peoples perceptions of them aren't reality... or factual.
Also the fact that they are big cities in the south seems like an oxymoron and is counterintuitive to southern sterotypes.

New York is also talked about alot. It is no doubt a great city, but some people do put it up like it is the alpha and omega and therefore breds debaters.... or maybe people are jealous...
nevertheless

Atlanta, Houston, and New York are the most infamous....
