Which do you prefer and why? Smell, feel, color?

Are you serious?

Bananas honestly dwarf North Dakota when it comes to GDP and has a far greater density of carbohydrates than North Dakota can even dream of. There's a reason why people all across this nation wear shirts emblazoned with Banana Republic instead of North Dakota.

I prefer North Dakota, which has a much more earthy feel than your average banana. Plus, North Dakota doesn't get all soft and mushy if you leave it sitting on the shelf for a week.

Fortunately, the OP made it easy for me by setting up what was basically a no-brainer. Had the question been, say, South Carolina vs. kiwi fruit, I don't know how I might have responded.

Hey now... SC has better food to offer than a stinkin' ol' Kiwi fruit.

Figures soon as you say that somebody from SC pops in...lol

Bananas all day long!

North Dakota nut bread
North Dakota split
North Dakota muffins
sliced North Dakota on a bowl of Cheerios
Strawberry and North Dakota smoothie

Not nearly as good as bananas!

I think it's time for the banana to ride elsewhere (but not here).
