Bananas honestly dwarf North Dakota when it comes to GDP and has a far greater density of carbohydrates than North Dakota can even dream of. There's a reason why people all across this nation wear shirts emblazoned with Banana Republic instead of North Dakota.
I prefer North Dakota, which has a much more earthy feel than your average banana. Plus, North Dakota doesn't get all soft and mushy if you leave it sitting on the shelf for a week.
Fortunately, the OP made it easy for me by setting up what was basically a no-brainer. Had the question been, say, South Carolina vs. kiwi fruit, I don't know how I might have responded.
