Denver is also pretty good on Marijuana.
They don't call it the "Mile High City" for no reason.

That's an interesting link. I am puzzled why NYC arrests more people for marijuana than any other city in the nation: America's Most Stoned Cities - The Daily Beast

This is a bit off topic, but it's interesting;
Read what it says under James Madison, by the way he was the one who is credited for the "3 branches of the US government, and power of checks and balances, as well as his involvement in authoring parts of the Constitution".

Drunkest: Some drab college town in the middle of nowhere where there's nothing to do but drink alone in your dorm every night

Highest: Somewhere on the west coast

Gee, add NYC in there, too. It may not be reflected in the crime rate, but a lot of those people can afford the good stuff. Best of all, they don't get caught because no one suspects them. Add in foreign tourists and you've got a pretty illicit combo. Yup, I see all you lawyers, stock brokers and doctors...

For such a small area, SF has tons of dispensaries! Not even close to 1,000 but there is enough, plus Oakland and a lot of surrounding suburban cities and towns have them as well. Even Marin has quite a few. There is a ton of pot in LA, but in my experience it isn't nearly as wide spread as in SF. More everyday people that I met in the Bay smoke, as where more people just say no in LA area. Also, the weed in the Bay Area is consistently of higher quality than Socal buds, although they both get the best of the best. Bay Area edges LA out on this one, hell the legalization of medicinal and now as a whole all came out of the bay and with Oaksterdam University and 420 being started in Marin, the Haight, etc etc...
