This one I think will be a good thread. I want yall to take in consideration each cities building boom, their economy, ability to bring in major companies, pros and cons, barriers such as height restrictions etc. . . .

Feel free to add another city if you would like but please state why dont just label some hick town and leave it blank!

Well who ever wins this poll at the end of the month I will design a tower that will be monumental from Google SketchUp and place it in the city and share it with you guys I can show yall a preview of what I can do if you would like.

IDK it would be really close between Atlanta, Houston, and Miami. I guess I'll go with Miami as it seems like they are building the most buildings at this point.

I think Miami, I think it already has the 3rd biggest skyline in the US so I think its inevitable.

Nashville is supposed to get one, and I think Charlotte. I would also like to see Atlanta get a new one to top out the BofA Tower. Actually I think Atlanta should build a tower structure like the CN Tower in Toronto or the Tokyo Sky Tree that is currently under construction.

I am exempting TX cities from this because people seem to veer off topic and it turns into arguments but much agreed

I can't believe Houston was left off the list, haha. Actually I can(another topic). I don't know if it will be Houston. We could do it, but I wouldn't want it. Everyone else can have that attention, haha.

I know for a fact that Oklahoma City was supposed to get a 900ft tall tower this year. I heard that due to a sudden drop in demand they shortened it by 150ft but it is still the tallest thing in the state and would completely redefine OKC's skyline (Tulsa currently has the tallest building in Oklahoma btw). Construction has begun as of October of last year.

Nashville's Signature Tower was scaled back(and drastically), last i heard, but might even be cancelled now. Maybe its on hold.

Back on topic,
The only cities i see getting future supertalls in the South are Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, and Miami. (The big 4)

And i think "south" is a broad term that definitely includes Texas, i can see the argument for excluding TX in the southEAST, but excluding it from the south is just wrong. And seeing as you've excluded it from all your "southern" threads, so i think its more because you dont like TX, but what ever. But your opinion, is your opinion.

But in taking out TX, REALISTICALLY only Atlanta or Miami will get future supertalls. So no real competition, but i digress.
