It is, it's a very diverse suburb. It's got some of the best schools in the Houston area (Not the best, but some of the top), it's the second largest economy in the Houston Area, and it's getting a lot of attention by large companies moving into the area. Also to mention that it's got large options for food and very unique food choices, and it's got a great shopping scene, and town square is very lively, especially during big holidays.

The one thing that I do dislike about it is, the traffic, the moment I get out of my house, I get stuck in traffic. I personally prefer driving in Sugar Land after 12 AM, when there aren't as many cars on the road.

I must have misunderstood your post, sorry. I have always heard nice things about Sugar Land, and have known several co-workers that lived there and really liked it.

Two of my favorite suburbs are suburbs of St. Louis: Clayton & Ladue. That area is so charming, very wealthy, and not cookie-cutter. I've heard that Webster Groves & Kirkwood are also nice, but I haven't been there yet. Chesterfield is nice too but very typical, the hills & scenery make-up for it though.

It's growing, and I can see it being getting very big, but it's got to expand a lot faster. It's still less than 10,000 in population. And I'm pretty sure by the next census, it'll be more of a competition for other suburbs of it's size in Houston.

No the closest thing to that is Pasadena, at 155,000.

Interesting. The reason I asked is that I have had several VERY wealthy clients in the past from there.

It's got the second highest per capita income to residents in Texas, I believe. But it isn't quite a city yet, it's still working on becoming a larger town.

It should definitely be in the Houston spotlight in the future, it probably will be, especially because of wealthy areas. That's how Katy, and parts of Memorial City (Houston) developed larger, because of their neighborhood, and of course with help from the I-10 corridor.

I do agree though, I would've liked to have seen some other Florida cities. Like Orlando which consistently has high rated suburbs on this poll. Or Tampa even. (either one of these by the way is closer in size to the twin cities)

Minneapolis is larger than Miami, but Miami metro has about 2 million more peeps.

So, you win I guess. LOL
