Quantity doesn't matter. Quality trumps quantity every time.

Size does not matter... so long as I'm not living in a ghost town.

That would be Casper, Wyoming (No pun intended)
The name of the city is Casper (The ghost) and it's a ghost town because it's population decreased to the point where almost no one lives there anymore.

I would like a city over 3,000,000. Its big enough that I can enjoy a pleothra of ammenities, perhaps some natural scenery as well, but not overwhelming that I would get lost. The biggest for me would be DFW, Houston, Atlanta. I would prefer a city like the Twin Cities size but with Southern weather. Hopefully, my hometown of Charlotte will get there relatively (10-20 years) soon.

Sorry bout putting Chicago in the wrong place. I think its more because I had the first one at 10,000,000 but then changed it to 8,000,000 and didn't realize it switched Chicago.

I voted for over 1,000,000 almost did 500,000. I would really love to visit all the over 8,000,000 cities of the world but don't want to live in one. I am a young professional though so finding work and having night life are still things I desire.

Tampa is pretty comparable in size to the Twin Cities and even has somewhat a similar feel with Tampa being more like Minneapolis and St. Petersburg being more like St. Paul. They also both have lots of water.... except Tampa is Southern weather as you mentioned, not to mention Clearwater has got to be better beach than anything in the Twin Cities.

I think I prefer something between 5 and 7 million, like Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Philly, San Francisco, Miami, Detroit, DC.

I didn't know this was asking for the preferable size of metro areas (I thought it was asking about single cities).
I chose over 200K, but I meant over 1 million.
