Built in 1932 of spanish architecture Boude Storey Middle school is the first jr. high school in Dallas and was the first school in Dallas to have 2 gyms. The chandeliers in the auditorium and in the hallway are imported from Spain. The massive mahogany beams that hold up the roof in the auditorium are imported from England and the doors are made from solid oak. The gutters are made from copper. (over the years the cooper turned black)

Default Jamaica High School

Jamaica High School

It's located a few blocks north of Downtown Jamaica (Queens), its a NYC Historical Landmark. In December the NYC Dept. of Education announced they were closing it because the graduation rate has been below 50% for years. It's also notoriously violent, I didn't go there so I don't know. I wonder what they'll do with the building.

I think this is the most historical school, but knowing NYC it may not be.

I was wrong, its actually Flushing High School (one of my school's rivals) that's the oldest in NYC, built in 1915.

Flushing High School (circa 1935)

It looks like a castle lol.

Lol, this is a highschool?

Looks like something from the dark ages. That's pretty cool though, very unique outlook on a high school building.

Infamous, your still off by a few years. At least 129 years to be exact!

Eramus Hall, the orginial building of Eramus Hall High School has been standing in Flatbush, Brooklyn since 1786. The current Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church, which donated the land for the high school, itself dates to the 1790s.

But you want to go back further to grade school, the Voorlezer's House on Staten Island is said to be the nation's oldest surviving primary school. It dates from from the 1680s-1690s.

Boston. That's easy. If we're talking about colleges, well, you know, Harvard. Primary and secondary schools? Boston Latin School, oldest public school in the U.S.

In Youngstown, the original Rayen High School, opened in 1866, is still used as the board of education offices for the Youngstown City School District.

Later, in 1912:

Benjamin Franklin didn't see those walls, the current school was built in 1922.
