What a ridiculous question. This Atlantan voted for San Francisco. The two cannot compare. San Francisco is one of the most urban cities in the country outside the East Coast.

If your biggest measure of "urban" is compactness then obviously San Francisco comes out on top. After all, it is located on a 7 mile wide peninsula....

To the OP:

If you going to pick a random picture of atlanta, at least pick one from this century:
LOL!!! that's exactly what I was thinking. First he ask a dumb question then puts up a 15+ year old pic of Atlanta. This obviously tell me that the OP has never been to Atlanta.

I wonder who are the 4 people who actually voted for ATL, besides tmac.
I am one of the 4 because it clearly does not matter since the answer is obvious!

You'd be stupid to think that someone from Atlanta would start a poll like this where they knew they'd be on the losing side.

This is an example of absurdity on this site. I can't for the life of me understand how anyone could vote for atlanta. It is not a dig to atlanta, nobody is putting it down. But you need to accept the fact that Atlanta is not a center of urban greatness. It is a sunbelt city that is fairly suburban. Again, not an insult, just a reality. I've lived in both cities and there is no comparison when it comes to urban density. So, again, this is a measurable quality. You can look it up. This isnt bashing, or boosting, it's statistics. If that upsets you... don't know what to tell you.

Dude come on, obviously the people (like me) who voted for Atlanta aren't serious...it's like if someone voted for French Lick, Indiana as more important than New York City...it's an absurd question that merits an equally absurd response.

Right. We are who we are. An auto-oriented sunbelt city, and we're just not going to compete with SF on density or urbanity.

I think this poll was intended as a joke. At least I hope so.
