I wasn't impressed with HI.

It was like $5.00 for a freaking bag of chips.

If you didn't like it because of the prices, that's outrageous. I liked it because of the unique landscape. I woke up living walking distance from the beach, rain forests, etc. I enjoy Hawaii because I enjoy the nature and urban life. The food was phenomenal as well. Did you get to experience Kauai? Maui? Lanai? The big island? Kauai alone is more interesting than the entire state of Minnesota.

I honestly don't know how anyone couldn't be impressed with Hawaii, it literally boggles my mind. The sheer beauty of the place is enough to get respect with most people. I'm not saying you've never been there, but it seems like if you were, you stayed at some resort and experienced what you could have at any other tropical hotel.

If you don't like beautiful landscapes, unique culture, the beach, nature, relaxed lifestyle, etc then ya, I could see why you wouldn't be impressed

BTW everyone should go to the place above if you visit Oahu, it's east of Diamond head and is called Hanauma Bay.

I prefer Rhode Island.....seems to be one of our nation's "forgotten" states.
