I would say Denver wins in the Cost of Living criteria. The areas near Seattle are known to be expensive, but I don't know for sure about Kent.
Personally, I would go with Denver on this one.
The weather is the only draw back for Denver, it can get cold (I'm used to it, but most aren't).
The airport in Denver is world class, which is always a plus.
The location is wonderful for traveling to all parts of the country.
The scenery is beautiful too!
