any city can be the city of dreams, it all just depends on what you are into and what you make of it. I would also say a higher percentage of people fail to fulfill their dreams in those cities because so many other people go there for the same thing.

yea, thats why the northeast has a bigger population than the west coast and the NYC area has a bigger population than the LA area because everyone wants to live on the west coast . btw, i love it how everyone tries to compare to nyc, hoping that they win just to feel important.

NYC doesn't own the title of everything or "best.." everything..this is city vs. city it's all in fun,for the most part I think everyone knows CD polls don't change real life (some people don't) get off you're high horse.

On topic,I originally went to NYC chasing dreams,in a way,and got what I got out of it and now live here.
But overall I agree with 415_810.

I love it how some people feel important because of where they live. I guess those are the people who would be unimportant if they lived in a small town? If you're not enough in a small town, moving to a bigger place isn't going to make you anything more.

way more people move from LA to Houston than the other way around so I guess Houston is the city of dreams.

It couldn't be because it had a few hundred year head start now could it..?

Honestly NYC is becoming less important than it used to be.
