woah, a famous city that is one of the least populated in the state? I'm not sure exactly about this...
does anyone have suggestions? or a better way of interpreting the question?

Hmmm...Id say Florida.

Miami is way more well known than Jacksonville.

Im not sure if Columbus is more famous than Cleveland or Cincinnati.

Maybe Texas too - Dallas seems to be more well known than Houston but the gap hasn't gotten much closer

On a regional perspective SF and SJ

Not sure about Ohio - is Columbus now larger than Cleveland

Miami is less populated city wise than Jacksonville but way more well known.

I think Texas too, Dallas feels like it's better known than Houston. But I don't know for sure?

Missouri:

St. Louis is better known than the larger city proper populated Kansas City

Tennessee:

Nashville seems like it's better known than the larger city populated Memphis.

Yes, Columbus is around 700,000 people and Cleveland is at around 400,000 people.
