Videogames are a good industry for investment and job creation. But we never talk about it.
About jobs in this industry we have 3 main leaders :
1-California
2-New York
3-Texas

Texas is become very interesting since 2007 :

As reported by the Austin American-Statesman (http://www.statesman.com/business/content/business/stories/other/06/08/8gamers.html - broken link) Gov. Rick Perry recently signed into law a bill providing incentives for film producers and video game developers in Texas.

Game companies are eligible for up to $250,000 in grants. But content restrictions have caused some concern. According to the newspaper report

I don't know which states are the biggest into videogames...but I do know that New York has the best videogame company. Hint: They've also got a branch in San Diego and they're the creators of a wildly successful/controversial franchise hah.

Dear god, they're really bent out on making Austin into a miniature version of the Bay Area, minus the Bay. (They'll probably create an artificial one someday with the way it's going)

And Washington, particularly the Seattle area, hasn't been referred to as a hotspot for the video gaming market & job industry?
