Was the car originally equipped with manual or pushbutton automatic transmission?

I had a '62 Plymouth Sport Fury, red, 4 on the floor, glass packs, convertible, 427 Police Interceptor engine, 4 barrel carb, jacked up in the back. Ate gas like crazy. I was a hot 17 year old chick driving that thing around.

Please don't let that car rust out. It's not going to be worth anything more than it is now, in case he's thinking of betting his retirement on it or "someday" getting to it. It will be worthless in a few years of neglect. Too many have met that fate.
I can just imagine it now, being parked in the grass for another 20 years where it will melt away. A sad ending to a grand car.
