Default Just my 2 cents to late

[quote=gtsurfer05;16634822]go into the house/museum. They only used the outside of the house in filming, the inside was done in a sound stage in Canada. There is street parking around the house (W. 11th), you won't need to walk far to get there(few hundred feet at most).

Hi Everone just using this op's thoughts to remind everone the outdoor
scene of storefront where the BB Gun was shown is PUBLIC SQUARE
our beloved now no longer Higbee's Department Store ,and all the great Christmas displays they did every year

When my husband and I went last year, I turned the corner and ran smack dab into the actress who played the mean elf in the department store scene!
That was a woman? Learn something new every day...

Never mind... I saw the movie again over the weekend and realized there were two mean elves -- and one of them was indeed a female.
