Well, this thread is about the Cavs...

I don't think that the Cavs are a laughing stock, per se. Other than the muckrackers, most people seem to empathetic towards the Cavs losing LeBron in the way that they did. Also, any team that is this injury depleted is bound to sail some rough waters.

Keep in mind, the Cavs were seen as one of the few bright spots a few years ago. Nothing lasts forever. Now, it's time for someone/thing else to step up. The Cavs won't be good again for at least another 1-2 seasons and the casino, at the earliest, won't be completed until 2013.

Once again, I realize the thread is about the Cavs, if you notice when I mentioned the casino in my first post I put "lol." I really don't see how a lot of people have been sympathetic towards the Cavs, but ok. And yes, the injuries just add the the woes.

The use of "lol" can mean many things. Given your negative tone, it appeared that it was being used sarcastically.

Some people are, some people aren't. The ones who aren't will one day get there's as well.

Well considering all I do is be positive for Cleveland...

I didn't realize I was being negative in my first post, interesting.

And I hope the folks (many nationwide) who are putting the Cavs down get theirs. But I don't see that happening for a long time. Don't take my non sugar-coating things as negativity, because I have been nothing but upbeat about Cleveland. Go check out the city vs city section and general US. I am one of the very select few posters who sticks up for this city.

He's going to be 29 when next season starts. That's too old for this Cavs team.

1) It's not last year? Check his stats this year? loldecline.

2) I know. The Cavs need to get as many as possible, though. And Varejao should've been moved months ago but the Cavs dropped the ball.

The Cavs deserve to be put down, particularly Mo Williams, who is at the absolute bottom of the league in terms of mental toughness, and JJ Hickson, who came into the league in the best situation possible for his development and managed to screw it up. Both were also classless douchebags dancing around when the Cavs were winning last year....all the insults and criticism is a long time coming for them. If you dish it out, you better be willing to take it.

Yeah, pretty much agree with this.

Totally agree. Laughing stock? Come on now.
I don't judge a city by how well the sports team does (unlike Forbes). And if anything, I believe most people are sympathetic toward our plight in the sprts world.

It does break my heart, though. I mean OF COURSE we weren't going to be the same team without Lebron... but to go from last year to LAST PLACE.... it's pretty depressing.

Kind of strange that the local Charlotte paper has yet to mention that Wallace is on trade block. I now some of the Bobcats fans would be po'd if this deal went through.

1.) A little decline. You know, LeBron's numbers are off from last year too. His skills must be diminishing, eh?

2.) Who or what draft picks were being offered for him and his 4-5 remaining years?
