My Mother-in-Law is going to be 80 middle of may this year.
She is first generation Italian , who is a westsider all of her life.

That said I have only really eaten pizza from a little shop , like 10 years ago. I know eastsider goes west seldom find myself east .

Since we have time to set this birthday bash up , we can take time to
review anything you reccommend.
After eating her , food I got a tall order here.
Southern Italian food is what I am thinking of.

Many thanks

3 go-to places are Gusto, Michaelangelo's, and La Dolce Vita.

Thanks everyone , been checking out everyones advice . and on my own
I should have included this question in my OP.
We will be a large group of 25 people at least . Any advive if anyone can advice
most appreciated. No matter it's going to be costly for me and wife , because
we would never think of anyone invited to share cost .

Ok, strong recommendation here:

Angelo's Nido Italia.,, and get the family style option. So much food for not that much per person.

Kind of an open answer, but there isn't one bad restaurant in Little Italy. You really can't go wrong anywhere.

Well this is off topic, but for future reference since you are a westsider, there is a small Southern Italian place in Rocky River called Stino da Napoli in case you hadn't heard of it. Cash only though. Very Good
