I'm a city guy and am considering moving from the Washington, D.C. area. I was looking on the Web at apartments in *very* walkable areas with lots of interesting shops, grocery stores/markets, restaurants, cafes (for typing away on my laptop with WiFi) and public transportation. I *hate* driving.

From what I've seen on the Web (yes, I know I have to visit!), Cleveland Heights looks like a great place for me (south from Mayfield Rd. to around Cedar Rd. and east from Lee Rd. to Case Western Reserve, for example).

It seems that two bedroom apartments, which is what I'd prefer, are about $850 - $1,200, which is quite reasonable compared to where I live. However, from the ads I've seen, many don't mention air conditioning.

Is air conditioning typically included but just not listed or isn't it available? Ohio can get hot in the summer!

So if air conditioning isn't listed, should I assume it's probably not available?

Thanks for any info.
