I'm new to Cleveland and looking at a condo in Battery Park. Would like to hear thoughts on the neighborhood regarding safety, entertainment, overall strengths and weaknesses.
Thanks!

There is not a lot of crime in that area but it does border some not so great areas. For perspective I would have no problem with my daughter moving there.
There are some nice eateries and restaurants in the area and it is a very short drive to downtown or the near west side so your entertainment options are pretty good. There is also a nice little indy art gallery in the area.
I love the winery over there. And Mad Stone has really good eats. Nice little corner bar with food that will really surprise you. And a killer patio for the warmer months (the winery just added a nice patio with a view too).

Its really nice with Gordon Square restaurants and the new condos. They just need to develop more between the detroit-superior and w. 68 (end of the arts scene). Then it will really be nice. But i certainly love driving around seeing what's being built.
