Some statistic you read somewhere? Test scores were 2% better? Spending was $200 higher per pupil?

Trust me when I tell you if you are even a marginal parent your kids will get an EXCELLENT education in EVERY suburb I mentioned.
North Olmsted may cost you a bit more as they just implemented some "pay-to-play" stuff for sports, but as to EDUCATION? Every suburb I mentioned is as good as River. Bar none.
I would even say with firsthand knowledge if I had my picks of school to send my kid right now: Fairview.
I don't know any district currently giving every high school kid a netbook computer when they start.
I will admit I know nothing about resale. Not something I consider when buying a home...
Car? Yes. Home? No.

A lot of Irish-American families in Rocky River,they for whatever reason adore wallpaper and tend to choose blue carpet as over time it turns a very deeply hued green ,especially in basement areas. Now if you like chrome globes on pedistals ,plastic,pink flamingo's Parma I recall has at least one home on the market with such ammenities .
