Can I be liable if i break my lease not pay last months rent and use my security deposit. i also renewed my lease for an additional year and 5 days later decided to cancell, can my LL hold me to contract.I live in ohio

Lease agreements are binding. The verbiage of the lease will ultimately dictate what can and can't happen legally. The best thing to do is talk to your landlord and see what you can work out. If that doesn't help, seek some legal advice.

Generally, you have 72 hours to break a lease agreement after you have signed it unless the lease allows for a longer time period.
