However there are a lots of public schools that have programs and teachers that are on par and quite possibly superior to what Iggy offers.
According to the NCEA, in 2011-2012 the archdiocese of Cleveland has a maximum salary of $49K for BS/BA degreed teachers, $61K for MA and $63K for "beyond MA". Considering that, I would expect them to have a much harder time attracting superior teachers to those of well paying public school districts like Lakewood and Rocky River. Just a quick search in River and Lakewood shows salaries for MA holding teachers maxing out at $97K and $88K, respectively.

Ok in what mother effing universe is Beachwood less than a 30 minute commute to downtown. Move to River, or just live in Ohio City and send em to Ignatius. Such a short drive (bikeable, even walkable!) To your work place. Please don't move to Beachwood (WTF?)

Google maps says Beachwood to Public Square is 25 minutes on surface streets and 22 via 480 and 77 (23 in current traffic at 8:40 am). Probably not the best option, but it's not as ZOMG a commute as you think.

As much as it pains me to agree with you , there are many parts of Beachwood that are an easy and quick commute to downtown. If that's one's goal, living near Fairmount in Beachwood IMO would probably make for the most convenient commute.
